Course content

The saturation diving course consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The diving course gives a thorough introduction to the use of the diving bell and pressure chamber, as well as training in transfer between chamber and bell under pressure. The bell system at NYD is compact and effective, so many dives will be made during the course period. The diving course focuses on procedures and emergency procedures.

The main parts of the course are held at NYD. For the last deep dive to a depth of more than 100 metres the course moves to the Institut National de Plongée Professionnelle (INPP) in Marseilles, France.
