We are proud to announce that NYD is the only diving school in the world that offers TUP training in the Part 1 course.  From 2009 NYD has implemented this diving method into the Part 1 course as one of the mandatory elements.  The TUP method is an alternative to today's surface decompression.  The method reduces the divers' health risk and improves the companies' health and safety profile.  In manned surface oriented deep air diving operations down to 50 meters the TUP method improves safety and efficiency.  At NYD's modern offshore training facilities the Part 1 students are trained in using closed bell in transferring the divers under pressure from the job to the surface chamber for decompression. They participate in bell handling,  lock outs,  emergency training procedures etc.
